17th October 2016
- Time12:00pm - 5:00pm
- VenueRussell Square
This free afternoon event is aimed at practitioners in London who work with college learners thinking about progression to Higher Education (HE). The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from a range of different speakers on topics reflecting the student learner journey, and to discuss how advisers can best support the students they work with as they make applications and transition to HE.
The event will include presentations and updates from UCAS, the Student Loans Company and the London Careers group. There will also be two workshop style sessions. The first will look at how to help learners make informed choices and think about the alternatives to full time HE study, and the second on how to ensure learners make a good impression with their personal statements.
